The UK mobile gambling technology provider Probability plc has signed a deal with Hasbro that will see four top game brands being made available for real-money mobile gambling action.

Trivial Pursuit, Subbuteo, Connect 4 and Battleship are the first games to be converted in terms of the agreement, with the first game expected to be available by the end of March 2009, company spokesmen advised this week.

Probability CEO Charles Cohen said: “Our agreement with Hasbro adds more excitement to our plans for this year. It helps further our strategy of leveraging strong global brands to deliver distinctive content to our players, particularly with slots games.”

Probability accompanied the good news of the Hasbro deal with solid Q4 2008 results. The company achieved net gaming revenues of GBP 1.31 million in the quarter, a remarkable 40.8 percent year-on-year improvement, although down 4.7 percent from Q3 2008.

Cohen remains optimistic, revealing that once the Christmas gift-buying spree had ended, business had picked up. “On December 23rd we recorded by far our busiest day yet, with up to 15 bets a second at one point in the evening,” he revealed.

Probability registered 67 639 new customers during Q4, working with major UK operators like Orange and 3 on mobile gambling services.
