Reporting on new social gaming numbers from the Eilers and Krecjik Gaming consultants this week, CDC Gaming noted that mobile was the driving force in the 18 percent y-o-y rise in revenue of social gaming to $1.27 billion during the first quarter of 2018. The Eilers and Krecjik report reveals that over the past 12 months the social gaming vertical’s value has increased 20 percent to $4.72 billion, with Playtika and its Slotomania app the market leader in Q1-2018 on almost $350 million, chased by Aristocrat Technology’s social gaming division Big Fish Games on $155.7 million.

Whilst not in the double digit market share league, Playstudios’ myVegas platform and Scientific Games‘ digital division also showed strong growth.
