On the back of an impressive increase of 800 percent year-on-year turnover for William Hill’s mobile sector, the bookmaker has announced the appointment of Fiona Stevenson as first head of mobile marketing.

Joining William Hill from a position of product marketing director at EA Mobile, and prior to that, as head of MMS marketing at T-Mobile International, Stevenson will be responsible for increasing consumer awareness of the company’s mobile offering and will report to group marketing director Kristof Fahy.

The announcement follows the recent launch of a new version of Will Hill’s mobet.williamhill.com website developed in conjunction with mobile developer Mobenga.  The optimised site offers customers access to over 500 000 markets each week and includes the Racing Post app, Match Predictor, Mobile Casino and Shake-A-Bet (see previous InfoPowa reports).
