Mobile gaming firm, Storm8 have snapped up former Zynga executives Tim Le Tourneau and Steve Parkis shortly after their departure from the social gaming firm in the newly created roles of chief creative officer and president of games and network, respectively.

“Tim and Steve’s combined creative and operational leadership bring us the tandem skill set required to take Storm8 to our next stage of growth,” said Storm8 chief executive officer and co-founder Perry Tam.

Zynga’s latest departures follow that of Maytal Ginzberg Olsha who served as chief operating officer of new markets for Zynga.  Olsha joined Zynga having served as the senior vice president of corporate and regulated markets at online gambling firm 888.

Olsha told the publication Venturebeat in early September that she had raised sufficient capital to do her own thing, and had parted ways with Zynga in order to build an innovative social casino business, with an early 2015 launch scheduled for its first product (see previous InfoPowa report).
