Having launched late 2012, the BetVictor iOS betting app was due for a revamp, and the company unveiled the new version this week.

The latest iteration of the app has more in common with the operator’s mobile offering, and also features in-play clocks, archived individual bet histories and other user-oriented improvements.

BetVictor’s mobile operations director, Turlough Lally, said this week that the new app has become available in good time for this week’s World Cup football betting.

Lally said that BetVictor’s latest research indicates that up to 80 percent of World Cup betting is likely to be initiated through mobile devices, and the redesigned iOS app would make the process easier for football fans and punters.
