Pokerstars Android app for Spain

Newly liberated and legalised Spanish online gamblers can enjoy their action on the go with the launch by Pokerstars of its Android app for the Spanish market this week.

The iOS version is expected soon, and will offer the same comprehensive service with support for cash games, sit and goes, tournaments, Hold’em, Plo, and of course the high speed Zoom product…all with multi-table capability.

First introduced to the Italian market earlier this year (see previous InfoPowa reports), the app was later rolled out in the British, French and European markets.

Pokerstars has a strong foothold in Spain, reportedly capturing 60 percent of the online cash game segment after just over a month of dedicated Spanish operations.

The Spanish Android app is available from Pokerstars.es/mobile.
