Pala launch mobile app for iOS and Android

The Pala Band of Mission Indians have launched a JOINGO developed and powered Pala Casino Spa & Resort mobile application for the iOS and Android platforms.

The application features Loyalty Account Integration, Location-Based Services, Slot Finder, and interactive property details.

“We are pleased to partner with Pala Casino Spa & Resort, which represents our first agreement with a tribal casino in Southern California,” said JOINGO’s president Seamus McGill. “We are confident that our award-winning technology will help Pala achieve their marketing objectives of increasing guest visitation and reducing direct mail costs.”

Brian Turk, chief information officer for Pala, added: “By partnering with JOINGO, we’ve quickly launched a mobile app with state-of-the-art custom features. Using JOINGO’s mobile platform, we will engage with our players in ways that have never been possible before.”

As current group finance director steps down to join The Monarch Group

Betfred has named a successor to group financial director Barry Nightingale as he moves on after seven years to take up a similar role at independent travel company The Monarch Group.

Current group financial controller Nicola Barr will take up the position effective January 2015.

Barr has spent the past 9 years with Betfred prior to which she served as a financial accountant at Stanley Racing and a senior auditor at Mitchell Charlesworth.
