New slot app from Germany

Infovole, an app developer located in Neuss, Germany, has announced the launch of Monster Spin, a social gaming app suitable for use on the iOS platform.

Monster Spin is a combination of a traditional German slot machine, casual gaming, game of skill and strategy, the developer claims. The theme is based on aliens conquering the solar system, with the players’ mission to beat the raiders with a Space Cowboy Jack character.

“With a typical slot machine the player is obtruded to a very passive role,” says Marcel Uetzels, founder and CEO of the developer. “Nevertheless people love this kind of entertainment, which challenges players whilst satisfying the gaming instinct.”

The new app combines the appeal of a classical slot machine with the interactive involvement of the player; the player strives to position the symbols correctly, climbs up winning ladders and collects monsters on the way up. The monsters again activate a match-3 bonus game and extra points, and the player has access to several cheats to beat the monsters.

The app is free to download and works without real money. Instead, players follow the usual social route of buying additional services outside the game to enable higher levels to be achieved, or to buy the entire game in one swoop instead of earning it in stages..
