Online payments company Skrill (formerly Moneybookers) launched a new mobile app Wednesday, claiming that it allows players to manage their Digital Wallet account and send and receive instant payments to anyone, anywhere, at any time.

Users can upload and withdraw funds and view and search transaction history on Android and iOS compatible mobile devices.

“All the features of our new mobile app have been designed to enhance the customer experience and simplify the process of money management on the move,” said Mark Carter, VP of Mobile at Skrill.

“Merchants will also benefit as they gain direct insight into customer behaviour in order to tailor offerings accordingly. The app will help with the acquisition of new customers and these customers should enjoy the compelling new user experience.”
