William Hill has made its biggest ever mobile payout to a Cop-The-Lot player who won GBP 866 000 on a GBP6 stake, claiming it to be the biggest ever mobile payout from a bookmaker.

The lucky 33-year-old Wakefield forklift driver, who chooses to remain anonymous, said: “I had to turn my phone off and then turn it back on again because I thought there had been a malfunction. I just could not believe it. I cannot explain how I felt as I just went numb. I have never been to another country and there are so many places I would love to go. I want to take my family around the world although first, I want to go to Tokyo and New Zealand.”

Joe Crilly, spokesman for William Hill, said: “This is our biggest ever mobile payout and is probably the biggest win in the history of mobile gaming. There is no doubt that we will see our very first mobile millionaire soon.”

The punter, who said he loves his job too much to leave it, could now afford to buy 86 new forklift trucks or four Aston Martins added Crilly.
