Mobile gambling technology provider Mfuse has announced that the major UK online gambling groups William Hill and Ladbrokes have opted for its mobile sports betting solution, which allows customers to access the full range of betting markets, including in-play, check the latest odds in real time and view the latest results.

The new application will provide iPhone users with a live sports betting service installed directly to their homepage. The system will utilise Mfuse’s mobile provisioning and transaction technology to provide the majority of the functionality found in an online sportsbook, including complex bet types, in running betting and credit/debit card deposit and withdrawals all with Apple’s user friendly interface.

The application is being rolled out initially across Ladbrokes and William Hill with the remaining client base to follow.

Rick Brownlow, Business Development Director of Mfuse, commented: “Our new web apps will provide the iPhone community with a host of betting and gaming applications which are unavailable through the current App Store. Mfuse is continuing its research and development in order to remain at the forefront of mobile technology and further establish itself in the smart phone market.”

Claire Barry, Head of New Channels at Ladbrokes plc, commented: “We are very excited to be launching an iPhone version of our Sportsbook with Mfuse. With the meteoric rise of the iPhone over the last year we wanted to create a bespoke skin that makes the most of the features that Apple supports with their Web Apps.”

Michael Byrne, Head of Mobile at William Hill plc, commented “We are delighted to now be able to offer iPhone users an optimised betting experience suited to their device. Mfuse have created a version of our sports book with the feel and functionality iPhone users expect. We are confident this will increase our reach and help attract new customers to our business”.
