William Hill plc is the latest in an impressive list of major companies to opt for Cellectivity’s Bet2Go mobile betting and odds comparison service. The London-listed company joins a blue chip list of clients that includes SkyBet, Boylesports, Ladbrokes, SportingBet, PaddyPower, Victor Chandler and BlueSquare.

Created by Cellectivity, Bet2Go is touted as the world’s largest sports betting service for mobile phones. Users get the best odds from most of the UK’s best known bookmakers live to their mobile and can then place a bet instantly via their keypad. Bet2Go users can create new bookmaker accounts or use their exisiting ones to place bets, check their balances, and make withdrawals or deposits.

The advanced solution uses a simple interface, specifically designed for mobile phones, to interact with live client sites, each with its own content, functionalities, processes and requirements.

Bet2Go allows users to compare odds, place bets and manage their bookmaker accounts on the move via their mobile handset, and online. Started in 2002, it claims to have been the first to market with a mobile betting application that quickly became the UK’s most successful mobile and online odds comparison and sports betting application, available through most of the UK mobile network portals. It works on the vast majority of available handsets in the UK, including Blackberries.

The system’s single registration process enables users to register only once before placing bets with any one of the listed bookmakers.

Cellectivity recently announced the launch of a new Bet2Go mobile betting service that allows punters to place a wider range of accumulator and multiple bets, while still allowing them to compare prices across a range of the UK’s leading bookmakers. Initially this is only available on J2ME & WAP.
