Management at mobile gambling specialist firm Probability plc was in confident mood as the week ended, having inked an agreement with Orbis Technology which allows all Orbis OpenBet and Fixed Odds games customers to “seamlessly deploy” Probability’s mobile games, including bingo, poker and slots.

The deal makes it possible for the entire Probability offering of more than thirty mobile games to be made available to Orbis customers, which include many of the biggest names in onlline betting and gaming, including SkyBet, PaddyPower and Ladbrokes.

Probability CEO Charles Cohen commented: “For Orbis customers looking for a quick and easy way to extend their existing on-line service into mobile, we now offer a solution with technology they already use, plus seamless operation with existing back-office and payments services. Regulator approval is also greatly simplified for each new site and Orbis customers can utilise our real-time CRM and other services as well.”

Cohen will also be pleased with his company’s first quarter results, released in conjunction with news of the Orbis agreement. For the period covering 1 April to 30 June 2009, Probability’s net gaming revenues rose to approximately GBP 1.25 million (Q4 2008: GBP 1.12 million).

The company added 67 650 new customers (Q4 2008: 49 506).

“The trend to increased volume in recruitment and yield from customers is expected to continue into the summer months, supported by planned major game launches, including ‘Battleship’ and ‘The X Factor’ slots games,” a Probability spokesman noted.
