Stan James Mobile

Stan James offer a really good betting / sportsbook experience and for a long time have been one of my favourite online betting destinations. They’ve now gone mobile with Stan James Mobile Sportsbook and my first impressions are positive. It has a good interface and seems to offer a wealth of betting options but all this will be explained more later in the review.

Installation

Stan James is a java based game, i.e you play it via your phone’s browser, but it still looks extremely good, here are the steps to get up and running;

1) On your phone’s browser go to www.stanjames.com or simply use QR Code on this page (you´ll need a QR Code reader)

2) Select the option to add it to your home screen and you get a nice shiny app for easy access in the future.

3) If you don’t already have an account at Stan James you can easily open one directly through the app or you can do so via their main website

Games and features

Stan James Mobile Betting offers a very good selection of sports to bet on and also one of my favourite features of mobile betting, in-play betting, where you can bet in the middle of a sports event, for example on who scores next which spices up any sports viewing occasion!

When I looked they had the following main sports available to bet on,

• Horse Racing

• Rugby Union and League
• Golf
• Tennis
• Cricket
• Golf
• Basketball

and a whole lot more.

They also have easy access to their casino directly from the main app and although I’m not reviewing the casino here I have to say it’s very nice.

I tried placing a few bets on horse racing, and the interface is really good to use plus crucially updates very fast which is always important if you are struggling to make that bet before the race starts.

Promotion and bonuses

This is where Stan James really comes into it’s own, they offer a staggering £150 free bet bonus, that’s £150 of their money which you can bet and win with, well with a few caveats of course, but it’s still a really fantastic bonus and a great way to boost your bank roll.

They also have a whole host of other bonuses where they award loyal customers and even have a happy hour every Saturday where they promise the best prices you’ll find anywhere.

 Verdict

In conclusion I have to say that I like Stan James a lot, they never ever seem to  disappoint and they certainly haven’t this time. They have created a very good mobile sportsbook which is an extension of the already excellent online sportsbetting site, I highly recommend this.
