Mobile casino operator LeoVegas is rarely out of the news these days thanks to an energetic promo and PR program, which this week included the appointment of Swedish celebrity Jon Olsson as its ambassador and outlined a publicity-targeted adventure in which he will participate later this year.

Olsson is a high profile lifestyle, blogger, skier, car enthusiast and designer in his home country, and has signed a three-year contract with LeoVegas that will include a major adventure around the middle of this year in which Olsson will drive cross-country from London to Mongolia, a distance of around 20,000 kilometres,

That would be tough enough in a 4×4, but Olsson plans to do it in a low-slung, designed-for-speed, wide body carbon fibre Lamborghini Huracán.
“This is the sort of car you would get to drive on the smoothest surfaces possible as a show off car and not to drive through never-ending stretches of extreme desert roads,” a presser from LeoVegas reminds readers.

During his trip – dubbed Mongol Rally – Olsson will share his adventures on the 30-day journey with his fans and LeoVegas’ customers via his online blog jon-olsson.com.

The PR stunt will be the first of several, along with ongoing marketing efforts involving the celebrity says Niklas Andersson, Sweden Country Manager for LeoVegas.
