Baltimore, Maryland-based PlayScreen, LLC has launched its new Blackjack Anywhere game for the Apple Watch.

The software is adaptable to all Apple mobile devices and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store for a small charge.

PlayScreen is a versatile developer with programming and design in Florence, Oregon and marketing in San Diego, California, whilst the head office is in Baltimore.

The company says that Blackjack Anywhere has been designed to take advantage of the power of the Apple Watch and the iPhone, and features an intuitive interface, easy to read cards, and a “true to the game” full classic Blackjack experience.

Players can double-down, get insurance, split … all the functions of a blackjack table are present in an easy to read interface that relies of touch screen or crown to hit or stand. Options include number of decks and dealer options.

“Our team has deep experience with small displays, beginning with some of the first mobile phone games in the early 2000’s” says Sherri Cuono, CTO, PlayScreen. “We knew we had meet the expectations of Blackjack Players, with all the playing options they expect while providing an experience well suited for the Apple Watch.”

The Gibraltar-based online gambling division of BetVictor (formerly Victor Chandler group) has launched its first native iOS iPhone application via the Apple App Store.

The app was developed and tested by an in-house team over a fifteen month period, a company spokesman revealed this week, and is also available to iPad users via a non-customised application.

The app carries a fully integrated casino, and a live betting section that includes scoreboards and data feeds.

The spokesman said that a native iPad application is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2013.
